Surfside Inn Redondo Beach

There were pretty pants all over the property, which I thought was lovely. The staff were super kind, the room was really clean, and the bed was cozy.

We’ll definitely come back. It’s not right on the water, but the beach is just a five-minute walk away, with plenty of food nearby and a Walgreens a block down. The place was clean, bug-free, and in a great location, and the customer service was great too. A good option if you’re traveling on a budget and need somewhere to stay.

I also had a safety concern when I lost my room key. I went to the office for a replacement, and the woman there, who seemed to have just woken up, gave me one without asking for ID or any other proof that the room was mine. As for the room itself, it had roaches and mold. They refused to refund me and said all they could do was return the deposit, which they owed me anyway since I hadn’t damaged anything. Minus 10 out of 10. I really don’t recommend staying here unless you want company while you sleep.

The front desk team was great. When we had trouble with the TV, they jumped on it right away and fixed it, even though the problem was our mistake. He also gave us some excellent nearby food recommendations. The property is quaint and clean, in a lovely neighborhood close to the beach, and the value was amazing. We’d stumbled onto the Moonlite after finding squatters in our Airbnb, and we couldn’t have been happier with the switch. It’s such a good find that I almost didn’t want to post and let the secret out, but they deserve the praise. Highly recommend, and we’re looking forward to coming back soon.
