The Northern Inn

Waking up to the lovely landscape was a treat. The room was very clean, and reception is always open. Would recommend!

The manager was really nice and personable, and everyone who lived or worked in the area turned out to be very nice too, despite the surrounding area giving me horror film vibes. The room got the job done in a pinch, but I wouldn’t arrive with high expectations. It could use some TLC. The room wasn’t very clean, and there was something on the bathroom floor that looked like it hadn’t been mopped in a while. The hand soap and shower gel seemed stretched with water, since what came out was basically diluted soapy water. There was a gap under the door, and large ants kept coming in from outside. The room also smelled stuffy and a little moldy.

They were kind and accommodating, and let us check out late even though rooms were in short supply. Great stay!

The room, Room 101, was surprisingly spacious and cleaned very well. After a full day of driving, we expected to rest easily, and we heard no one all night. We were traveling through the area with my wife and kids and had booked ahead for an overnight stay. We arrived around 2pm, but the room wasn’t ready, so we drove down the road for pizza at the Lost Frenchman. The food was delicious and the staff there were very friendly. When we returned, work vehicles filled the parking lot and people were unloading their trucks. I worried it would be a loud, rowdy night, but that wasn’t the case at all. There were only two towels for four of us, so we asked for extras. One of the towels in the room was stained, and we requested a replacement. The staff were nice. We’d recommend the place.
