Viren told me one thing, but when I got to the property the woman didn’t want to help at all. She didn’t even check the reservations and was really rude. Terrible customer service. I guess you get what you pay for, the place is a dump.

The room looked heavily used, with haphazard, unskilled maintenance and wiring that seemed genuinely more than 50 years old. The walls were thin, and it sounded like someone was building something in the next room. I arrived late to find my prepaid reservation wasn’t on file. After a lot of hesitation, the woman at the office door sent me to another hotel for the first night and promised to hold a room for the remaining nights I’d paid for. I’ll need to find somewhere better to stay in town.

Booked through Expedia, knowing the price was low, but when I arrived there was a huge garbage pile outside and a half-naked man waving a stick. The shack was run-down, with cracked walls, dirty curtains, and worn or missing roof shingles. I didn’t even get out of my car before leaving. I’d rather sleep in my car than stay in this disgusting place that needs to be bulldozed.

The owners are a family and made me feel at home. I stayed here while on a work assignment, and the place was clean and great. They also have a good daily cleaning service.
