Motel Reedsburg

It’s the cheapest place and does the job for a night’s sleep. The mattress was comfortable, and I was surprised to find a modern TV, plus a microwave and fridge. I’m glad we arrived late, since all we needed to do was wash up and sleep. I’d suggest doing the same if you get the room I had. There was a small roach on the wall, dead bugs by the carpet and sink, and the carpet didn’t feel clean. The shower curtain was stained and moldy, and the tub was dirty. I tried not to look around too much because I was afraid of what I’d find. At bedtime I just prayed for daylight so I could leave.

I was told new owners took over last year and are gradually making improvements. The place is a bit dingy and run-down, though for a basic room to sleep in, it costs less than other options nearby. We’ll probably stay here again.

It’s pretty run-down, and we paid over $100 a night because hotels and motels around here were somehow charging extremely high rates. This wasn’t worth what we paid, though maybe it would be worth $40 for a night’s sleep and shower. People were hanging around drinking and smoking at 2am. The AC was loud, but in this case that helped cover the outside noise. Don’t stay here unless you have no choice.

It’s a large, very clean room, and the beds are comfortable. The AC works like a dream. It’s not fancy, but it’s ideal if you’d rather avoid crowds and noisy neighbors. The Dells are a short drive away. If I make it back there, I’d prefer to stay here again.
