Homestead Bed & Breakfast at Rehoboth

The quiet, safe location was close to everything we needed, and the grounds were charming. Our host was kind and quick to respond, shared useful local recommendations, and checked in to make sure all was well. It was. My daughter, Bichon, and I had a wonderful time at this Airbnb. The place was spotless and nicely decorated, with thoughtful supplies and extras: luxurious linen, a comfortable bed, a white noise machine, a cozy dining nook, bar glasses and an ice bucket, plus a delicious breakfast. It felt like home. Whether you’re here for work, a weekend, or a longer trip, I’d recommend it. I’ll book again next time I’m in the area.

Rain and wind were with us during our stay as a hurricane moved up the coast, but Joe and David went out of their way with recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. The Homestead B&B makes you want to slow down and enjoy Lewes and Rehoboth. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to coming back. It’s a lovely choice for a quiet getaway with genuine hospitality. This was our third visit with innkeepers Joe & David, and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. We stayed in the charming Carriage House Loft. It was spotless, cozy, beautifully cared for, and full of thoughtful beach touches. Breakfast each morning was fresh, homemade, and served with care. We usually ate in our room, but the weather led us to try the main house room, where we had wonderful conversations with Joe & David. I highly recommend having breakfast there.

The only downside was the rainy weather during the first couple of days. We stayed in the Sea Glass room, where the bed was comfortable, and the noise machine was a favorite. Joe and David had thought of everything, and breakfast was out of this world. My husband and I fell in love with the place. When we parked and saw the landscaping, I felt envious, and the security was top notch.

Our pup had a fantastic time in the big, beautiful dog park, complete with a comfy gazebo for people too. The place is so dog friendly. We stayed in the comfortable, relaxing main house, and loved the lovely pool, beautiful grounds, and screened porch as a breakfast spot. Joe and David were wonderful hosts, and their breakfasts were delicious. The homemade banana bread and pancakes were among the best we’ve had. The B&B itself is cute and cozy, and we enjoyed our stay so much that we can’t wait to return. I highly recommend it!
