Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Tacoma International Airport

The staff were the reason this stay still felt worthwhile. Everyone I spoke with was kind and professional, from the front desk to the manager, and the breakfast and service from 5:00 to 7:30 were lovely. The room itself was cozy, the beds comfortable, and the hotel has a nice feel to it. We booked over spring break for the indoor pool and location, so finding the pool closed with no notice on the website or before arrival was a real letdown. I know closures happen, but it was one of our main reasons for choosing the hotel. Parking was a mess. The paid lot required a room card to enter and leave, but that system didn't work during our visit, so each time we had to ring for help or get a ticket and take it to the desk. Only one elevator was working, and we were told to expect electrical and Wi-Fi interruptions. It seems renovations were underway, and that affected the whole experience. The laminate floor in our room got dirty, and there was no broom. We didn't need room service, but it would've helped if someone had swept once. I'd like to return after the renovations, when the pool is open. Even with the pool closed, the wonderful staff made a difference.

The buffet had tons of food choices, lots of seating, and plenty of room around it. Our room felt like a little apartment, with a kitchenette, living area, table and chairs, and a sofa bed. The bed was GREAT.

The staff and breakfast were good. The room needs updating, though. The bathroom was uncomfortable, with no powered exhaust fan and only a shower, no tub. There wasn't a door on the shower either, so water went everywhere. Parking wasn't free, I paid $60 for two nights, including taxes and fees.

Lindsay was so sweet, and I loved her accent. Talking with her felt like chatting with a friend, not just dealing with someone at work. She helped us find places to visit on our early anniversary trip and pointed us to the customer service number to sort out a reservation charge. Thankfully, that got resolved. We stayed two nights. The breakfast had a great variety, our room 726 was clean and nice, and the staff were lovely. I'd stay here again.
