There’s a nice family restaurant next door, but check its hours if you don’t have a car. It closes at 3 pm Monday through Thursday and at 2 on Sunday. The airport has no bus or Uber service, though the taxi ride to the hotel was short, prompt, and inexpensive. The rooms were nice and very clean. The hotel sells a few microwave meals and has free breakfast with the usual eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles, coffee, and juice. Coffee in the room is free, but bottled water is $5.

Peggy was a bright light at the front desk, greeting people as they came in. You’re lucky to have her. The rooms were clean and seemed freshly painted, and it’s a nice little hotel. One thing to mention, the new, beautiful bathtub showers really need grab bars. The tub was slippery, though I managed. I’ll be back. Thank you, Peggy!

The people here are really nice, and the rooms are pretty good, though some parts feel cheap. The closet doors aren’t well made, and the toilet seat was already a little broken. That seems like it should be better, since the place was just built.

Peggy was especially attentive and kept the outdoor fire pit open late for us. The staff were friendly throughout our three-night stay, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Terrific experience. I’d highly recommend it if you’re visiting Hodag country.

The staff were great and the hotel was clean. The microwave in our room had a problem. Apparently those doors are junk and break often, but it wasn’t a big deal for us. We’ll stay there again.
