The Peach House

We loved sitting out on the porch in the afternoon, and Beverly was a truly wonderful hostess. The house itself is gorgeous, breakfast was really good, and the location made it easy to walk to Krog Street Market or drive to Atlanta's highlights. I can't say enough good things about our stay. I'd highly recommend it and hope to come back.

The Peach Blossom Suite was spacious and gorgeous, and the private balcony deck was a peaceful place to unwind after a day of walking around attractions. The neighborhood was quiet, with lovely cool breezes in the evenings. I also enjoyed relaxing in the claw foot bath tub, with plenty of nice hot water. The breakfasts were delicious. There was an AC problem the first night, but the owners and caretakers got on it quickly and fixed it by the next day. That felt timely and professional. The Peach House is a beautiful home, and we'd absolutely stay again if we're in ATL.

Restaurants and shops are an easy walk away, and downtown is less than 15 minutes away, so it's easy to enjoy a couple of relaxed days outside the busy center. The hostess was very nice, and breakfast was wonderful both mornings. The home is Black-owned, and the art and pictures throughout are African-American oriented. As an older white man, I found that different in a really nice way. My Black wife felt cozy and welcome, as she should. It's a lovely place for White, Black, or other guests.

Renting a bike or scooter is a nice way to see Atlanta at a slower pace, and you can leave the car parked. The house is close enough to walk to the Beltline Trail and lots of places to eat. Beverly, the owner, also shared excellent local tips that made our trip better. There were thoughtful touches around the house, including candies for a sweet pick-me-up after a long day out and a Keurig machine in the next room. It's a great spot for runners and walkers, too.
