The building is lovely and the setting is beautiful, and the food tasted good. But the portions were disappointing. We came for fish fry, and my husband and I each got two pieces about the size of fish sticks. The old fashioneds were okay, though they had no alcohol in them. Korbel came automatically, which is fine, but usually you get rail unless you ask for something else. We weren't aiming to pay $8 for each drink, and definitely didn't expect a $100 meal.

The food and service were great, and I loved my room apart from a couple of things: a dog barking upstairs, plus hair in the bathtub and in the corner of the floor. I'd come back.

The lake view was great, and the room was a good size and clean. It's easy to find, with a restaurant right there. There was a microwave and coffee in the room, and the bathroom was clean with a full-size tub.

The room had a lovely view of the Lake, and it was cozy and pet friendly. We called ahead to book and ordered a pizza for pickup at check-in. It was really good, and the service was quick and friendly.

The soup and salad bar is one of the things my extended family and I enjoy when we eat here. We've been many times, and there's lots we like: Friday fish fry, burgers, spicy cheese curds, Mac n cheese with pork, wings, and more. The old fashioneds are great too. Great owner and servers.
