Economy Inn Richmond

I stayed Saturday the 28th and left Sunday the 29th. They took a $50 deposit before I checked out. I asked them to inspect the room so I could get all of it back, and the man said everything was fine. Now they're only returning $47.50, claiming I stole towels. They're taking money from customers.

The room was clean and comfortable, and I slept well. Nothing fancy, but there was a couch, a small fridge, and a microwave. For two people on a Saturday night, the total came to $150 after fees. I'd put the hotel around three and a half stars.

For a stop along the way, it was good value for the price. We arrived at night and left the next morning, though the staff who helped us didn't put in much effort. I do speak English. I worked as an English to Spanish translator for more than 30 years. Four of us traveled in the USA for 24 days, and none of our cards had a problem. This inn was our first stop. You're thinking of the wrong customer, or you're lying. It seems to me you don't care who wrote this review.

I was in town for a conference in San Francisco and didn't want to spend those ridiculous city prices. The motel was in good shape, with nice rooms, and I was really pleased with what I got for the money. The staff seemed to care. I'd recommend it to friends.
