Quality Inn and Conference Center

The only real snag was that the wifi didn’t reach our room at the end of the hall, so we spent some time in the lobby instead. The place was clean and comfortable, easy to reach just off I-70, and the staff were helpful and friendly. I’d happily stay at this Quality Inn again.

I was very disappointed and won’t return. The room and hotel were filthy, with dirty sheets stained by popcorn ceiling particles and a persistent moldy smell that didn’t clear while we were out at dinner. The towels had yellow stains, and a small cockroach came out of the shower curtain rod while I was showering. Breakfast was limited to cereal, milk, apple juice, water, and pancakes. The elevators were small, dirty, and very slow.

The pool was freezing, and nobody warned us ahead of time. Apart from that, we had a nice stay. The staff were friendly, check-in was quick and easy, and our room was clean and comfortable.

The staff were decently nice, but I’d tell people to save themselves the trouble of staying here. I picked it because the room was $75 for a night, then found out at the desk there was a nonrefundable $25 pet deposit for each pet. I ended up paying $125 total. I could’ve stayed at a nice Hamiliton for that, and it allows pets without a deposit. Then I saw the room: rabbit shit on the floor, other animals’ hair all over the bed, and ripped carpet and walls. I’m especially allergic to dogs and rabbits. What’s the point of a deposit if they don’t clean up after previous animals? The view in the last photo says it all.
