The room we booked wasn't ready at check-in, so we were given a different one, and housekeeping hadn't cleaned it well before we arrived. The bathroom had wall stains, peeling wallpaper, and toilet paper scribbled on with Sharpie. The shampoo and conditioner were terrible, though the body wash smelled good. We also had a heck of a time getting the heat to work. I wouldn't stay here again.

Such a good spot for families, with lovely sitting areas, a great breakfast area, clean rooms, and polite staff. The location is easy to get to from the highway. Wish we'd found this place when our kids were little!

The location was handy, with restaurants and a bowling alley close by and a mall just a few minutes away. We came to Richmond for my daughter’s baby shower, and I was impressed by the friendly staff and the price. Calling the hotel got me a better rate. The room and hotel were clean and updated, and the shower was great, especially the mirrors that don’t fog up. Breakfast had a huge buffet selection. There’s a clean indoor pool, a well-equipped gym where I saw a maid wiping down the equipment, plus a pool table, board games, and a nice outdoor seating area. It’s pet-friendly, but I didn’t notice any smell.

I could smell mold in room 326, and then saw it plainly on the wall while putting a blanket on the bed. At check-in, their credit card system kept declining my card, but the employee checked me in anyway. When I went back downstairs about the mold, Rebekah didn’t seem surprised. They had no other rooms because of the EKU football game. I was in town to visit my sister, who is sick with cancer, and had to drive two and a half hours back home, then make the trip again the next day. I spoke with manager Neal, but he didn’t acknowledge that there was mold in the building. You can clearly see it in the picture.
