Embassy Suites by Hilton Jackson North Ridgeland

We spent nearly two weeks here, and the staff made a long stay easy. Housekeeping kept our clean, comfortable room stocked every day, and the 24-hour gym helped offset all the good Mississippi food. The location worked well for shopping and local restaurants. Breakfast was delicious, especially Ms. Crystal’s omelets, and the evening receptions were a nice touch. Clark always had my chilled Chardonnay ready and made time for great conversations. We also enjoyed The Mockingbird, particularly the Cajun pasta, pork chops, wings, and Brussel sprouts. Marquita and Major at the front desk were professional and welcoming. The hotel’s new designs look wonderful, and I’d suggest updating the photos to match. If I come back to Ridgeland, Mississippi, this is the only hotel I’d stay at.

The Embassy staff made my business trip to Ridgeland MS feel welcoming from arrival to departure. I was especially grateful to Ms. Betty White at the front desk. She helped me get a lower-level room even though I’d forgotten to request one, replaced my key after I locked myself out, and sent up an ironing board when I couldn’t figure out the steamer. When I got a small injury riding my bike, she even offered to patch me up. Her kindness and friendly smile made a real difference. The hotel itself was top notch. I travel often as a lifetime Diamond member and have stayed at plenty of nice Hilton properties. The room was comfortable, breakfast was terrific, and the manager’s reception was a welcome extra. I brought my bike to ride the nearby Natchez Trace trail after work during the week of 3/2. The woman working hard to clear tables during the busy breakfast seemed to be named Debra or Donna, and she was friendly too. I hope work brings me back soon.

Embassy came through for our family of five after another hotel left us without a room late at night. We’d arrived there around 10pm and found that the room we booked couldn’t fit us, with no couch, pull-out bed, or other room available. They refunded us, but it was already past 9pm and we had nowhere to stay. Luckily, Embassy was nearby and had space. They upgraded us at no charge and made us feel welcome after a really upsetting start. Our room was spotless, comfortable, well stocked, and just right for our family. Breakfast the next morning had plenty of choices for everyone’s needs, and nobody left hungry. We were grateful for the kind service. It was a blessing in disguise that the first booking fell through, and I’d recommend this Embassy.

The stay was good overall, though some construction near my third-floor room partly woke me up. The shower also lost pressure after about 15 minutes, and the pizza I ordered tasted good but felt small for the price.
