The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the pool was clean and well kept. Our room was spacious and clean too. We arrived after midnight with a car full of little kids, and the women at the front desk were so helpful that they even offered a late checkout. It was a lovely stay. I’d like to see the gym equipment updated, but I’d recommend the place. Thanks!

I was so frustrated by Juliet, the manager, that I prepaid for another nearby hotel for the remaining four days of my trip. I’ve been a diamond member for years, and hotels I’ve stayed at across Mexico and the USA have let me check in early without trouble. Here, I’d driven six hours to work the night before and worked 14 hours until 7:30 a.m., but Juliet insisted I wait until the 3 p.m. check-in time. I’d asked for a 2 p.m. checkout because the night clerk said occupancy for that night was well below half, but she gave me a hard time over my third-party booking and didn’t realize it was a tiered rewards member reservation. Later, while I was eating with my service dog Bella in the otherwise empty dining area, she kept telling me dogs were offensive to other guests. I explained Bella was on her chair, not the table, and pointed out the sign saying “service dogs are welcome.” She still insisted I couldn’t be there and accused me of trying to get two nights for the price of one because I’d checked in at 8 a.m. She seemed to keep taking her frustration out on me, and I could hear her talking to the staff at the counter while I prepared my food. She said she didn’t want to argue and walked away in the middle of our conversation. It was disrespectful and ignorant, especially while I was trying to eat. I also saw homeless people staying in the parking lot and dog waste around the property she manages. I left four days of business here because of the lack of professionalism and kindness.

The rates were reasonable, the staff friendly, and the rooms very clean. The beds were comfortable too.

Tamara deserves recognition for being such a capable manager. The staff were wonderful and ready to help.
