Days Inn Tulsa Airport

For the price, I guess you get what you pay for. The person who greeted me was friendly, but the room was unpleasant: there was hair all over the sheets, inside and out. Maybe the washing machines are bad, or maybe they just fluff up the sheets instead of changing them between guests. I suspect the latter. I complained and got moved to another room. The bed there was fine, but the tub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, so I didn't use it. It's a cheap place in a seedy neighborhood with mediocre rooms. I wouldn't put it high on my list. Stay at your own risk if cheap thrills are what you want.

I checked in at 3 AM after a long day of travel, but the room was so disgusting that I couldn't sleep there. I often stay at two-star hotels, and this was unacceptable. I went back to the desk and asked to have my card credited. The clerk was rude and told me to call the manager in the morning. I contacted my credit card company and asked them to stop the charge since I wouldn't be staying. The manager was rude too when I called in the morning, and charged me an extra $22.70 cleaning fee. I'd been in the room for two minutes and hadn't even brought in my luggage. He said he didn't care since I wouldn't stay there again. My card company treated it as fraud and had to send me a new card. This is the first time I've felt compelled to leave a negative review. I'm trying to spare someone else the worst experience ever.

The building looks decent, but my nonsmoking room smelled strange and the comforter had cigarette burns and assorted stains. Bugs were crawling around the AC unit, where I also spotted one cockroach. The front desk offered to move me, but I told her where there's one, there are probably more. I definitely wouldn't stay here unless I was desperate for sleep.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I spent a week here for work in Tulsa, and it was unbelievable. The area is bad, and it seemed more like the Happieness Hotel than a Days Inn. The clerk who checked us in was hateful and didn't even say hello or goodbye. The place was disorganized too. My coworkers had someone banging on their door after midnight, demanding to be let in. It turned out the hotel clerk had made him a key. The same thing happened to the neighbor of another coworker. Our rooms were cleaned inconsistently, we had to get our keys recoded every day, and the rooms were dirty and smelled bad. It seemed like a haven for prostitution, and I saw people approach elderly couples. At the Napa Store next door, a couple were having sex behind the loading dock in plain view. When staff at the nearby Denny's heard where I was staying, they were shocked and told me to stay safe.
