The price was good, and we felt safe in the area. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, including a gas station, arbys, wendys, and a pizza hut within walking distance. The lobby also has free coffee and hot chocolate, plus snacks for sale. The front desk staff were kind and helpful, and our room looked clean. The bathroom had a couple of problems: the toilet filled up, then drained slowly and left paper behind. A plunger from the front desk didn’t help. In the shower, the curtain kept blowing around and water ended up all over the floor. There are some things here that could use fixing.

For the price, it was the cheapest place to crash in town, and having a gas station right next door was handy. The room itself was pretty bare. It echoed, there wasn’t much furniture, and even with the TV turned way up, I could barely hear it. The bathroom was tiny enough that I had to shut the door to get in. The toilet paper holder was broken, and the shower looked dirty. There was no ventilation, so the windows were wet in the morning. The water was cloudy, and I didn’t want to drink it.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the afternoon front office lady was nice. Those were the good parts. The heater and cooler by the window were loud and temperamental, keeping us up all night. It was either blasting cold air or switched off while we got hot. There wasn’t a cup for water from the sink, and no coffee in the room. The lobby coffee was empty too. I asked two people about it. The afternoon lady was pleasant, but the morning lady was rude and snippy. Management seemed to know they were out and had no intention of getting more. The shower swung between scalding and freezing, and the smelly curtain kept sticking to me. The pillows were flat and lumpy. I’d never stay here again or recommend it. For about the same price, I wish I’d driven a few more minutes up the road to a decent hotel.

Just before Rexburg and Idaho Falls, the location worked perfectly for us. The room was very clean and affordable, and the front desk staff were kind. They even helped me find discounts I hadn’t known about. I’d highly recommend this hotel, especially for its great front desk employees.

We booked more than a month ahead, but when we arrived they said our room wasn’t available and moved us into a downgraded room. It was a terrible experience. The drive to book somewhere else would be worth it.
