We were quoted $159 a night as wedding guests and told the military discount could be added. At check-in, though, we were charged $179 a night, $20 more. When we questioned it, they said nothing could be done. We also saw the same nights listed for $100-130, and showed them we could have booked online for $100. They wouldn't honor anything and said we should've booked online instead of through them. Abby at reception was extremely rude and wouldn't contact her manager about the incorrect bill. She kept saying the manager would come in later, but when we returned, the manager still wasn't there. When we said we weren't leaving until it was fixed, she said she'd text the manager, Jamie, she guessed, then rolled her eyes. We paid over $500 for three nights, but the room had holes in the bedding and curtains, stains in the rug, and water that wouldn't get hot. The rooms and staff should be better for that price. Save your money and stay somewhere else. I've attached photos of the price gouging and the conditions guests are put in.

The staff were very nice, the amenities were great, and it's super close to everything in downtown River Falls. If you're visiting for a college tour or seeing your child at college, I highly recommend this hotel!

The smoked brisket bowl with elote corn was absolutely to die for, and the drinks and spirits selection was wonderful. We also ordered the chicken broccoli risotto, which was a bit disappointing. They boast about using local ingredients, so we expected local broccoli this time of year, but it was frozen, and the risotto was mediocre. Service, music, and pricing were phenomenal. I'll go back and enjoy myself again.

I always choose this hotel when I'm visiting family in Spring Valley. It's pet friendly, reasonably priced, and in a good location. I do wish it were closer, but given where it is, I can't complain.

Being close to my work was the only good thing about this hotel. The room smelled like someone had smoked in it, the chair arms were stained, and there were crumbs and garbage under the footstool. The shower head was the worst. I turned the water on from beside the tub to check the pressure, and water sprayed me in the face. I wiped the shower head with a washcloth, and the cloth came away black from mold. I won't be coming back.
