Economy Inn

The AC blasted freezing air and couldn't be turned off, but without it the room became impossible to breathe in. The whole place felt creepy and unsettling, and when we walked into the room there was a strong, unpleasant smell. Weird love notes were scratched into the door, the curtains had strange stains, and the floor was filthy. I couldn't sleep at all. Without exaggeration, this was the worst night of my life. Everything felt more like a drug den than a hotel. I wouldn't stay again even if they paid me. Sleeping in my car would be better. No renovation can save the place; it just needs to be demolished.

The flies in the room drove me crazy. I woke up several times with them landing on my forehead while I slept. I killed about four, but another always showed up. There was a disgusting stain between the beds that looked wet, and the chair was stained even worse. When I first walked in, there was a horrible smell, and the room was probably 80-90 degrees. I had to open the window and blast the AC just to try to cover it. It seemed peaceful until the Sheriff came by at night for what looked like some kind of domestic situation. The town is nice and the owner was friendly, but that's all the good I can say. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

A quaint place and well worth staying at. It's very affordable, and the room was clean and comfortable with a really comfy bed. Even the toilet paper was surprisingly soft. I could reach the outlets to charge my phone and tablet without unplugging the clock. Why don't the big hotel chains catch on to that?

The owners are very nice, and we would have liked to stay longer. But the bed sheets smelled bad. After a few days, I asked for clean covers, and those smelled worse than what we already had. The carpet needs replacing. It's the cheapest place in town, but we stayed only a week before switching motels.
