Riverbend Retreat Fla

We saw ospreys, manatees, and dolphins during our weekend retreat at Riverbend Retreat center, ideally situated on the river. The center was immaculate, the friendly staff served pleasant meals, and the accommodations exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this beautiful place.

Don't be taken in by the landscaping, this is not a four-star hotel. It's a guest room in a house, with the bathroom separate from the room. The walls are thin, so you hear everything in the common area. Breakfast was low-quality fruit and hard-boiled eggs in a plastic bag. This isn't a hotel.

The owners and staff went above and beyond to meet our requests. You can tell they put a lot of love into the business. It was just the place our busy family needed to relax, rewind, and refresh. We'll be back.

The place was a lovely surprise for my wife and me. Riverbend Retreat feels like an experience more than a bed and breakfast. The grounds by the water are beautiful, with a walking path throughout, plus swings, hammocks, and a fire pit overlooking the water. It was one of the most peaceful places I've been, perfect for relaxing. Inside, it felt like home, with spacious open living areas that were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was brought to our room in the morning, simple but so delicious. Thanks, Riverbend, for all the attention to detail.
