Creekside Paradise Bed and Breakfast

Jeff and Cynthia were flexible and understanding whenever changes affected our pickup and plans, and they did so much to help us hikers. We stayed three nights, two before hiking in the Smokies, and Jeff helped us slack pack for two days. After our backpack, he picked us up at Davenport Gap and drove us back to Creekside, stopping so we could get snacks. We stayed one more night. They're some of the friendliest, most accommodating people we've met. You can camp or stay in the house, and as a vegan I appreciated that Jeff made sure there were food options for me. He's a wonderful cook, and the rooms and breakfasts were the best. I can't recommend this place enough if you're hiking.

We had a wonderful four-night stay at Creekside Paradise. The room and grounds were beautiful, everything was immaculately clean, and Jeff and Cynthia were lovely hosts. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the large hot tub in the evenings and having delicious breakfasts. We'd definitely return if we're in the area again.

Our first B&B stay was at Cynthia & Jeff's place, where we spent a couple of days with our furry friends. The hosts made us feel comfortable, almost like we were at home. The room was spacious, with a balcony and a very comfy bed. After hiking, we slept like babies. The bathroom had everything we needed and more, and smelled really nice. The house was full of doggies that weekend, which we loved. The area is beautiful, with a river running right by the house, so you can enjoy the views and sounds over breakfast. You don't even need to drive off to hike, the area itself is one huge hike, haha. Breakfast was wonderful, especially Jeff's homemade potatoes. I've included pictures for anyone curious about the breakfast setup. The hot tub was a nice bonus, and the hosts provided robes and offered bathing suits. It was a really pleasant getaway, thanks to Cynthia and Jeff!

My husband and I came on our Harley to ride the Tail of the Dragon, and we're glad we found this place. It's several miles to the nearest stores, so pick up drinks before you arrive. Each room has a fridge and coffee pot. We loved our stay and are already planning another trip. There are more routes nearby we'd have driven if we'd had longer. Cynthia and Jeff are friendly and know the area well. Their beautiful home sits on amazing mountain grounds, with a constant stream out front. Astrid, Louise, and Opal greet you in the driveway with wagging tails. The cozy rooms made me feel at home, and I didn't want to leave. Jeff makes breakfast from 7:00am, with fresh cut fruit salad, Greek and regular yogurts, cereals, breads, hot food, coffee, and juice. The log cabin has a wrap-around porch and decks on three sides, with stairs leading down to the grounds. There's a hot tub and outdoor kitchen on the back deck, a laundry room guests can use, and a firepit just feet from the stream where we sat afternoons and evenings. It's a great place to get outdoors and away from electronics and cell service. Maps and pamphlets are available in the rooms.
