The room was spacious and indulgent without feeling like a museum or a minimalist nightmare, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. I booked the King Luxury room/suite. I didn't use the jacuzzi whirlpool features, just the tub for a soak, which was relaxing. Staff service was excellent and conscientious. The main drawback was the food ordered through Gio’s Prime 26 steakhouse. I'd heard great things, but my experience fell short. Everything was presented nicely, but the food had an awful smell reminiscent of fish, which put me off since I don't eat fish or seafood. I tasted everything: Kansas Strip, mashed potatoes, house salad, risotto, augratin potatoes, and French onion soup. The bread was by far the best part. The onion soup was too sweet for my taste, and its crouton didn't have the substance I expect from baked onion soup. My steak was dry, though cooked to temperature. I don't mind paying for good food, but spending $200 and eating nothing wasn't a win. There are much better options nearby for a third of the price.

My friend and I rented a room for the weekend and had a great experience. Everything was clean, from the room to the showers, and the beds were comfy. The staff were very polite, and most of all we felt safe and had no worries. The price wasn't bad at all. We'll be back, and I definitely recommend this beautiful hotel.

The accommodations were gorgeous, and the staff were excellent. We stayed in a luxury room that was spotless, elegant, and roomy. I also highly recommend the cocktails and food at Vanni’s. A flawless experience all around.

We made it work with a few furnishings that felt more decorative than useful. The water pressure was fantastic, though switching to the shower made a funny squeal, a sound neither of us had heard since childhood. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff were responsible, quick to answer questions and take care of requests. We stayed a couple of nights and enjoyed the visit despite the snow and extreme cold outside. On our second day we found the south entrance, the ADA accessible one, with a chairlift up to the lobby. It's a great modern addition, easy to use and very welcome. The hotel has all the makings of a great stay, and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

We were in Rochester for a funeral and decided to make the most of the weekend. I love finding distinctive places with character and thoughtful appointments, and The Inn on Broadway was exquisite. The rooms were charmingly decorated and well appointed, and it felt like home, just a fancier one than ours. The pre-arrival messages were excellent, check-in went smoothly, and every staff member was friendlier than at most places I've stayed in the US or abroad. Our best to the front desk team, the valet, and the delightful “guard” of the speakeasy. I'll recommend you to everyone.
