My three-year-old daughter loved the pool and its water slides, which were perfect for kids. The room also had a really nice kitchen, and it was a nice hotel with clean, really nice rooms.

The manager recognized me as someone who'd stayed here long term before, and I'd spent a lot of money here, over $900 a week for multiple weeks. Still, he treated me horribly. I was meeting a friend in town and went to the wrong hotel, which was my mistake and I own that. My friend gave me her room number, and I went to join her. While waiting, I got a coffee and an egg. The manager confronted me and called me a thief who was only there for food. He said I was from another crappy motel, demanded the name and room number, and then accused me of lying after I willingly gave them. I understand the need to protect the establishment, but that wasn't the way to handle it. He screamed obscenities at me as I walked out. It was an honest mistake, and I didn't deserve that. I'm disgusted, and as long as that manager is there, I won't return or recommend the place.

After our daily hospital visits, this was a good place to unwind. The staff were friendly, the breakfast selection decent, and having a bathtub in the hotel room felt like a luxury these days. Suvo at the front desk was especially accommodating and remembered us from a call we'd made to the hotel a week earlier. We'd definitely stay here again.

We’d celebrated birthdays here for more than ten years, even after moving an hour away, because family could drop by. That ended with my daughter’s 18th. The manager kept calling about having several kids in the room, though they were my children, ages 18, 17, 16, and 12. He wouldn’t let family bring gifts up or stop in to say hello, and the whole thing made us uncomfortable enough that we left after maybe three hours and switched hotels. We didn’t use any amenities. Paying almost $200 for a room with water damage, ants, and things falling apart was already hard to justify. We won’t return or recommend it. Rochester has plenty of other places that treat guests better.
