The room was acceptable and the hotel was fine, so the stay itself was okay. What really bothered me was having no power outlets by the bed at all. With all the devices people use now, that just doesn't work for me.

The suite was huge, with two king beds, two sofa beds, a pair of desks and chairs, a large TV, plenty of plugs, and a surprisingly big mini fridge. I fit two 12-packs of soda sideways on one shelf, and there was another shelf, two vegetable drawers, and a freezer section. For the price, I might consider staying again, since it looks like they're updating the place gradually. The rest was a mixed bag. There's no elevator, and when my son asked the front desk for bedding for the sofa beds in our booked suite, they gave him a hard time and said we should have brought our own. He ended up with just two sheets for the two beds, nothing else. Some towels were fluffy, while others were threadbare. The AC looked new and worked well, and the lighting was good, but there was mold around the tub and hardly any bathroom counter space. The toilet paper holder sat under the towel rack, so a hanging towel covered the paper and got it wet. The carpeted floor felt uneven, like plywood underneath had gotten wet before. Breakfast had one kind of pastry, two very stale cereals, toast and jelly, coffee, plus milk and apple juice in pitchers. The cereal was so stale we couldn't eat it, so we went to McDonald's. They used Styrofoam plates and bowls.

I stayed for three days with my girlfriend. After she attacked me, I called the cops. The owner wouldn't let either the cops or me into the room to get my car keys and wallet. She's in jail now, and they won't let me collect all of her kids' toys and clothing.

Every other hotel nearby was booked, so we had to take a room here. We chose a suite hoping for something decent, but the couches were old and stained, and the floor felt like it was sinking. There was a musty odor, so we had to get an air freshener. The beds seemed fine. I pulled the top sheet off and laid it over the couches so we could sit down. In the morning I spotted a bug crawling along the upper back of a couch. Up close, it was a bed bug. I killed it, called the front desk, and left after handing them the bug. They told me it didn't matter that I'd brought it in and that they'd tell management. I left my number hoping for a refund, but nobody ever got back to me.
