After a stressful return from a long trip, I was just trying to arrange a room for my son at the location he'd asked for. The attendant wouldn't rent to me when my Discover card declined because of a hold from the cruise ship I'd just returned from. I tried to explain and offered another card, but he dismissed me without listening. I then offered cash, and he refused that too, treating me like I was trash and trying to take advantage of him. After I had a meltdown, he finally let me reserve using the alternate card I'd first presented. I'm embarrassed to share this, but I felt I had to speak up about what I experienced as unprofessional and prejudiced behavior. My son and I had discussed this place at length, but if the day hadn't already been so hectic, I wouldn't have stayed here. I will never patronize this business again. Be kind to people. You never know what they're going through.

My apartment flooded because of a broken pipe, so I called to ask whether the hotel had vacancies. The man on the phone assured me they had rooms and said I could check in as soon as I arrived. I got there three minutes later and spoke to the same man at the desk. He looked at me and said there were no rooms and told me to leave. I reminded him we'd just spoken, but he kept repeating, “Please leave, no rooms.” As a Black man with dreads, I felt racially profiled, and the whole thing left me disgusted with him and the hotel. Save your money and go somewhere else. Please send this hotel out of business.

My family was treated rudely when we went to the office about the lamp switch that had been broken in the room during our previous stay. They said it was already broken when we were there last time, and had a nasty attitude when we told them about it. The rooms are filthy, blankets have holes, towels are stained, and we found roaches and bed bugs. The staff were very rude and couldn't barely speak English. Don't recommend coming here.

I was left with no other place to stay, so I put up with this for three days. Housekeeping didn't clean the bathroom, and the bedding looked like it hadn't been changed in ages. I found a bed bug crawling past my head while I was in bed. On my first day, I left the DND sign up, but came back to one dirty towel on the table and five dollars missing from my dresser. The owners and staff are very rude, and cleanliness is poor. On day two, I got locked out and needed a new key. They barely understood English, so it took 10 phone calls and six trips to the lobby. When I tried to pay for another night, the owner said no, checkout was at 11am, then walked away without explaining. They show no respect for privacy or personal space, and the dirty hotel is matched by their nasty attitudes.
