Tru by Hilton Rock Hill

Those little details made a big difference: there was a long bench for our bags, a rotating reading light by each bed, places to hang coats, and two window screens, one for privacy and one decorative. We also appreciated the water bottle filling station by the ice machine and the two bottles of water at check-in. Breakfast was a highlight, with an automatic pancake maker and a yogurt machine plus lots of toppings. The decor felt completely updated, and everything was clean. We stopped overnight on the way to Florida, and this was the best hotel we've stayed at for what we consider a very modest price. I don't know how they manage all that for the rate.

There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby, which made the location convenient. The rooms were simple and very clean, with a minimalist feel. The beds were neatly made and a little firmer than I prefer, though comfortable enough for a good night's rest. Staff service was excellent, and the common spaces felt welcoming. The complimentary breakfast buffet was basic but satisfying, with a small range of snacks and toiletries also available to buy. The hotel seems fairly new, and comes across as clean, modern, and well equipped. I'd recommend it as an affordable choice for travelers looking for comfort and value.

Service was great, and they have complimentary breakfast if you want it. I especially liked the vanilla yogurt. The room was well priced, though the small desk made the space feel cramped when I was teleworking.

Meshun Crosby is an exceptional GM for Hilton, and my husband and I are looking forward to opening the champagne Tru Staff gave us. Tru by Hilton hosted me and my wedding guests, and the rooms were comfortable while the hotel had a lovely ambiance. I hadn't stayed at a Tru before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. When our room block ran out, the GM made sure my guests were accommodated. They also let me hold the rehearsal dinner in the lobby, where our guests could lounge every night without being harassed, unlike at some hotels. I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience was so good I'd give him 10 stars if I could. I definitely recommend Tru by Hilton Rock Hill for a group stay.
