This place is a nasty eyesore, unkempt and gross. Tear it down. I wouldn't stay there even if I had bed bugs.

Why don't you, since it's the Four Seasons Hotel, remove your Ethanol planet and your Cell phone in every TV, Marvin & Lorna Ebert of Marcus, Iowa? And the purverts are Marlis Irena Ebert, Vernon Joseph Donner are R.I.P
Don't come here. The rooms are nasty, the staff are rude and mean, and they lie. The toilet wouldn't flush, roaches were around, and the shower water backed up. They don't change the sheets or give you a TV. There were kids living at the hotel who were very loud, with adults too, so you can't sleep. They said they'd come fix things and never showed. I don't recommend this place.
We only needed a room for one night after my BF went fishing at Hennepin Canal, and all the 3+ star hotels nearby and within 5 miles were booked. We've winged it on past trips and managed a last-minute room at a 3+ star place, but not this time. The outside was run-down and poorly kept. Inside, it smelled strongly musty, like it hadn't been aired out in ages. The beds were okay, but I doubted the sheets were clean based on the room's look and smell, even though they didn't look or smell dirty. I put my clean beach towels over them and slept on those. The wooden furniture was very old, and I was afraid to open the fridge or microwave, though we didn't need either. The bathroom was questionable too: the toilet and sink worked fine and didn't look aged, but the shower floor seemed like it hadn't been cleaned or disinfected. There was no hand soap and barely an inch of toilet paper. The towels looked long past retirement. The carpet was the worst, heavily stained with who knows what. Disgusting. After this, I'm done winging it and will reserve at a 3+ star hotel.
The view in the morning was kind of pretty, and for the price this place was a pleasant surprise. The front desk clerk was friendly and let us choose a room. The AC cranks, hot and cold water both work well, and there's bathroom tile, a microwave and fridge, a nice TV with tons of channels, a working land line, and plenty of outlets and mirrors. Wifi was spotty, but I didn't try very hard to improve it. I'm a little OCD, so no hotel room ever feels clean enough for me, but maybe the other reviews were exaggerated or they stayed on a bad day. In this price range, lots of Quad Cities hotels are dumps with pointless rules, deposit hassles, and broken stuff. This one almost made me forget where I was. I'd happily stay again.
