Debra at the front desk was great, and the room was clean and cute. We had a great stay for a very reasonable price. I’d come back if I’m in rock springs again.

April’s warm, easygoing welcome made a big difference after a long day on the road. I arrived late on Thanksgiving Eve, exhausted from driving, and was glad someone was still at the desk. Check-in was quick, and she found me a room near where I’d parked so I wouldn’t have to haul my gear up stairs. She said, “That is just how we do it in Rock Springs,” and it felt true. The room had a rugged Western look, though it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. In my tired state, the smell even brought back memories of old motels where smoke seemed baked into the curtains. It felt oddly nostalgic and suited the lived-in feel of the place. If you’re passing through Wyoming and want somewhere that feels honest and well-used, this does the job. The welcome alone made the stop worthwhile.

The pool was warm and clean, and there’s a good restaurant right across the street. The area felt good, with no worries. Inside, the eating area was beautiful and the decor made us feel comfortable. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at, and we’d definitely return.

After driving 700 miles from Lincoln NE, I was glad to find a nice hotel for the night. The room was great and super quiet, with a comfortable bed. I had a lovely hot shower in the morning. Just the best.
