Comfort Inn & Suites Rock Springs - Green River

I’ve stayed here many times, but the service from manager Heidi left me unimpressed. I asked whether my coworker could get the same rate on a second room as I’d received on the room I booked under my name. It was only a $10 difference. I’m a Choice diamond member, and I thought keeping a valued member’s future stays might matter more than that $10, but I was wrong. I even said I planned to book a whole week the following week. It didn’t matter to her.

The older decor has a lot of charm, and the hotel was clean. A few things in the room need replacing or updating from wear and tear, so I’m giving the room four stars. That didn’t keep us from having a good night’s stay.

Juan, the overnight staff member, was rude when I arrived around 3 am. He said he’d canceled my reservation and that I had to leave by 11 am. I explained I’m a platinum member, but he said the membership didn’t apply to this reservation. When he asked for my credit card, I asked how much I needed in my account, and he got mad and said he could charge me 300 dollars if he wanted. It was the worst customer service experience. The hotel is nice, but Juan is a bad choice for greeting guests.

I’ve stayed at the Comfort Inn in Rock Springs, Wyoming a few times, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I recently couldn’t make a two-night reservation, and General Manager Betty called me with a very pleasant manner. Once she understood what had happened, she was very sympathetic and didn’t charge me for those two nights. Thank you, Betty, you’re the best!
