Serene Retreat King Bed at Rockerville Gold Town

Our family of four stayed here while I was on a nursing contract in Rapid City, and we loved every minute. The owners were kind and quick to respond, and it felt like they truly cared about how our stay went. Even our kids fell in love with them, and we were sorry to leave. The property was spotless and well cared for, with high quality appliances and housewares, everything we needed to feel at home, and even a BBQ grill. The owners clearly take pride in the rentals. It felt clean and safe, which we were especially grateful for after hearing travel nurses' stories about some sketchy parts of Rapid City. The location was beautiful, with a gorgeous view of the Black Hills, and made a great base for seeing the area's memorable sights. Everywhere was a short drive away. There's also a very cool restaurant just a stone's throw away, with drinks and good food. By far the best rental and travel experience I've had as a travel nurse.

Three senior friends from Sioux Falls stayed at RGTL NO. 2, 23785, Grubstake Court Unit B from Sept. 16 to Sept. 18. The place was amazingly comfortable, and we felt right at home. Strongly recommended for anyone visiting the area. Five stars.

Four of us stayed in one of the units after an emergency forced the cancellation of our original Airbnb booking. The place was quiet, clean, and well stocked, and it was close to the main roads to the attractions. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which gave us the privacy we wanted. The washer and dryer were a bonus, too, since that meant less laundry after vacation, lol. It took us a few days to notice that the condos were designed like an old western town, and that made us like the place even more. We'd definitely stay again!

We loved our weekend at Rockerville #5 and hated to leave. With a toddler, we thought a condo would work better than a hotel, and booking through the property's website cost less than a third party site. It was quiet and reasonably close to Rapid City and the attractions. The house had everything we needed, right down to washer and dishwasher pods. My husband kept talking about the appliances, gorgeous kitchen, and spacious bedroom. It really felt like a home away from home. Our only hiccup was finding the right unit after arriving very late following a long drive. The addresses could use better lighting at night, but it turned out not to be a problem. The owners were very nice and quick to help whenever contacted. Thanks for a lovely vacation rental!
