Beach & King Street Inn

The room was the nicest I’ve stayed in at an inn, and the bed was even more comfortable than mine at home. After four stressful hours of traffic and driving, it was a relief to walk into a place that felt so homey and welcoming. We were rushing to the rehearsal dinner, but Tim got us settled quickly and shared helpful information. I’d spent hours searching for a room for Thursday and Friday for a wedding, after calling on Wednesday night. I didn’t know the area, and everywhere else I found was either booked or too expensive. I figured Beach and King Street Inn would be full too, but Tim was phenomenal and booked us at 9PM. He made sure we were taken care of and eased all the stress of finding a quality place. I highly recommend the inn, and we’re already looking forward to planning another trip there.

The room was the best part, with a lovely ocean view, two comfortable chairs for reading, and a bed I didn’t want to get out of. The location made it easy to walk around Rockport, and the train is only 1/4 mile away for getting into the city. I’d recommend the Inn for a single person or a couple, and it also seems great for families or friends traveling together. I had a wonderful stay at Beach & King. The host accommodated my specific food requests and unusual departure times, and was always reachable by phone or text when I had questions.

The owner was friendly and made our stay wonderful, and all the rooms are so comfortable. When we visit Rockport and Gloucester, this is the only place we’ll stay.

Fresh cookies, good service, and a great location. Really wonderful.
