Laguna Reef 2 by Miss Kitty’s

Room 311 is nice and dog friendly, with extra wiring on the balcony so a dog can't slip through the iron railing. The property's looking cleaner and the pool is well kept as things improve under the new management, Evoke. Natalie was amazing and tried to put things right even though we hadn't booked through her. If we return, I'll update this review. Our stay started badly. We went straight to the room at 3:55, just before its 4 PM ready time, and found it hadn't been cleaned at all. Trash was everywhere, the pullout sofa bed was still unmade, and the bed hadn't been turned over. I called Miss Kitty's, and they arranged for someone to clean it. There was no apology from them. The young woman who came was the only one who apologized, and she did a thorough, amazing job. She even checked on us the next day, out of the kindness of her own heart, not because her boss asked her to. I hope the owner turns the unit over to Evoke, which is now running the place. If you stay here, book through Evoke instead of Miss Kitty's.

The private pier was a peaceful place to fish, and the large pool was there for a refreshing dip. After a day out, the comfortable rooms made a relaxing retreat. It was a lovely spot to unwind and make lasting memories.

The rooms were nice, though the cleanup seemed rushed. Before we arrived, we were told we'd have to provide our own soap, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, dish soap, clean towels, and trash bags after the first 24 hours. There'd be no coffee or spices in the condo either. We were staying six days, so that felt like a pretty sad policy. The management counter said they didn't actually manage the condo we'd booked, and that we had to contact the original booking company with questions or concerns. The batteries in our TV remotes were dead, and it took two days for replacements to be delivered. There has to be a better way.
