I usually cut a cheap hotel some slack, since you know what you’re getting if it’s the cheapest in town. The service desk guy was nice, and there’s some potential here. The TV was a decent size, too. But I still think they’re charging too much. The AC worked, but three buttons were so worn you couldn’t read them, so it wasn’t clear how to adjust it. There seem to be lots of little water bugs around. They’re harmless, but unsettling. There was dirt in the corners and under the furniture, plus spots I hope were rust and not mold. The vending machine was broken, and there weren’t any monsters in it anyway.

The staff were great, and housekeeping did a good job with towels and such. The rooms themselves weren’t cleaned very well. We travel for contractor work and carry our own cleaning supplies, so we cleaned the room ourselves. Road work on 30 also makes it a pain to get in and out.

There were bugs, which was the worst part. I caught and released about six crickets, killed several German cockroaches, and saw a few beetles. I wiped everything down with Clorox wipes and would suggest others do the same. The room was reasonably clean, with fresh-looking sheets and towels, and the bed was comfortable. The shower had good pressure. There were bath towels and mats but no hand towels or washcloths. I liked the hardwood floors and the excellent WiFi. The fridge was cold, the TV worked, and the microwave seemed fine, though I didn’t use it. The alarm clock showed the right time, the phone worked, all the lights worked, and the room was well lit. Furniture was okay but dated. The walls and bathroom door need repainting, though that didn’t bother me for $135 for two nights. The staff were professional and I had no issues with them. I didn’t see any free breakfast or coffee, but there was an in-room coffee maker and supplies that I didn’t use. Loud people in the parking lot woke me a couple of times the first night, though I can’t blame the hotel for that. I’ve stayed in much worse places, and you might be fine here if bugs don’t bother you too much.

The room was filthy. There were pee stains on the toilet, gum stuck to the bed frame by the nightstand, and dirt and debris all over the floor. It looked like nobody had really cleaned it, just made the bed and replaced the ice bucket and bags. We wondered whether the sheets were clean, but since it was just one night, we stayed. We’d booked and paid online ahead of time. During check-in, the attendant asked my husband for his credit card and said he hadn’t paid. My husband insisted he had, and only then did the man “double check” and say we were all set. It felt scammy, like he was after our card information or trying to charge us again.

Disgusting place, don’t waste your money. We booked a king room at the last minute, but never again. The minute we walked in, it smelled old and dirty. There were stains on the walls, doors, furniture, and even the towels and hand towels. The bathroom floor still had hair from the previous guests, and the sheets were stained and had cigarette burns. It’s run down, and the Google pictures you see when searching for hotels aren’t up to date. Booked on 11/22/2025.
