The rooms were clean and really cute, and check-in was quick. Everyone was lovely. The manager and I had a conversation that meant a lot to me, even though it was just a brief moment on our trip from Florida to New York. I won't forget it. Thank you again.

The bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of grassy space behind the hotel for my dogs. You get what you pay for.

My experience with Mr. Haashish (I may have the name spelled wrong), who I believe is the manager, was extremely unprofessional. He told me I couldn't take commissary breakfast to my room. All I had was orange juice and a waffle, so it felt like he was trying to throw his weight around and get a reaction. He also claimed that bringing breakfast to a room causes roaches. I found that ridiculous. Does that mean guests can't order pizza or other takeout either? I told him I'm a grown man and not to speak to me like a child. I spend a lot of money here when I'm in town, and nobody has ever told me anything like this before. He then said my money wasn't welcome anymore and that I should never stay here again. That kind of treatment is unacceptable for a guest.

I won't stay here again. After getting a key at 4 a.m., I drove around to the back of the hotel as instructed, and the next morning I found the middle front grille missing from my car. Earlier that night, the app had shown no Friday availability, though there were only a few cars in the lot. I went back after taking the next exit and called the reservation line. A woman said a room was available through my rewards program. When I saw a man come out from the back, I thanked her, said I planned to book in person, and hung up. But the man at the night window quoted a price $30 higher and said I couldn't register, get a room, or even enter the lobby until 4 a.m., at least an hour away. I called the reservation desk again and a different woman gave me a third price between the two. I was so tired I gave up and completed the registration.

I stayed here for weeks while commuting as a travel nurse and dealing with car trouble. Erica was accommodating when she was working, and told me the owner was open to late checkout for nurses. I was repeatedly offered a complimentary checkout at 1 p.m., which I accepted. When I checked out at 12:50, Jolene Thomas told me I'd be charged. I declined, and I'm now disputing the unauthorized charge for a free late checkout the hotel offered but Jolene wouldn't honor. I didn't ask for it, so don't offer it if you won't follow through. I don't know what her problem is, but she made this difficult for no reason.
