Holiday Inn Exp Stes Rogers by IHG

The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay at Holiday Inn Express Rogers. Our family especially enjoyed the pool's kiddie area, which was just right for our daughter. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well cared for, and as Platinum Elite members we appreciated the welcome gift and snacks at check-in. We'd gladly return and recommend it to families.

Room 214 had a heating unit so loud it sounded like a car idling, with squealing off and on all night. We arrived around 11:30 pm after a long drive, traveling with kids and using two rooms. The unit in the other room worked normally, so this seemed specific to ours. Even my sound machine couldn't cover it. When I reported it the first night, the desk suggested wind, but the noise stopped when I turned the unit off. They couldn't move us, and we were left to get through the night. I stuffed tissues in my ears to sleep. The next morning we were told maintenance was on site and would address it. Nothing had changed by evening. I spoke to a different desk employee, played a video of the intense noise, and asked for the manager to call. No call came. We turned the heat up as much as possible, took the kids to the pool to preheat the room, and planned to sleep with the heat off. Despite it being negative 2 degrees outside, I shut the heater off because of the noise. The room was 46 degrees when I woke up. The staff member from the previous morning then agreed to move us for the final two nights. They quickly turned Room 214 over for another family while the problem was still unresolved, so beware. I wouldn't count on other issues being addressed during a stay, even if they're serious. The long delay, lack of follow-through, and inconsistent responses at the desk had a significant effect on our experience. Some things were fine. Breakfast was typical and met expectations. The pool was on the warm side, which we liked, and the hot tub was comfortable, though the water sat low enough that much of your upper body stayed exposed unless you knelt. The towels were the usual small pool size, and there weren't enough for guests who arrived after us.

The room was quiet, clean, and relaxing, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of good options. Most of all, the staff were so friendly and helpful that I'd give them 10 stars if I could. I had a five-star stay at Holiday Inn Express and would definitely come back. Cady 414

I've stayed at more than 100 IHG hotels over the past two years for work, mostly Holiday Inn Express, and this is the first one I've reviewed. The people here made it stand out. They felt genuinely warm and happy to be there, with personal conversations, running jokes, and recognition for me and other guests. The hotel was tidy and clean, with thoughtful little touches. I even overheard staff discussing where to put the condiments to make things easier for guests. The fitness room is small, but it has more equipment than some hotels with twice the space, and everything was orderly. The floor was so spotless I noticed it while doing burpees. The pool area is large and nicely heated, and the clean hot tub is the biggest I've seen at a Holday Inn. The kids' splash area looked fun, with a wild zoo animal theme. The nearby restaurant partnership made dinner easy: Short or Tall had great food, drinks, and service, though the seating was a bit cramped. It may be nicer in warmer months when the outdoor seating opens.
