Rodeway Inn Wine Country

I've stayed here several times, and the charges keep changing. They alter the deposit and the posted prices for large trucks. They say a large truck is 25 feet, but charged me for my 16-foot truck. I was also charged when I rebooked online to extend my room. They advertise as pet friendly, but after one night with my service dog they held back my deposit over dog hair. There's a smoking area, yet the front desk woman got mad and used that as a reason to try to keep the deposit. They also claimed there was blood on the headrest when there hadn't been any bleeding, so I suspect it was left by a previous guest and not cleaned. Crooks and thieves, and this place needs to be investigated. Don't stay here.

They moved me to another room right away at 1 a.m., in a different building, and I appreciate that. Still, I can't recommend staying here, especially in building 5. I booked through Airbnb expecting a house or something, and felt misled when I arrived at the motel. The listing didn't mention roadway inn. I was put in room 515, where I spotted a roach crawling across the room as I was about to sleep. I checked the bed and saw three little bugs by the headboard and another on the box spring. They looked like bed bugs. Stay away.

My mother and brother couldn't even get through the night. A front desk representative tried to force their way into the room without knocking. We called the cops, but nothing happened. The front desk staff seemed aloof and in cahoots. The bathroom was dirty, people were talking loudly, and the TV upstairs was blaring. It was a terrible experience, and this feels like a criminal operation.

The woman at the front desk was very rude, and the customer service was awful. Our room had a leaking refrigerator, a toilet that barely flushed, and a microwave with no turntable plate. The bathroom was depressing, too. We were on the second floor, and in some spots it felt like the floor might give way. Worst hotel I've stayed at.
