Holiday Inn Express & Suites Romeoville - Joliet North by IHG

Jenna was the highlight, she made me feel right at home and is a wonderful asset to Holiday Inn Express. Give her a raise! I stayed 2/25-27, and this may be my new favorite hotel. The room was spacious and clean, the lobby smelled fantastic, and breakfast was delicious.

Sunny was friendly at check-in and really lived up to his name. Jenna, the manager on duty, was kind and accommodating, and took care of my small request right away. Breakfast was good too. It's a solid place to stay in the area. This was my second visit, and both times I've been pleasantly surprised by how clean and well kept the hotel was.

The key card access for the elevator made the hotel feel secure, and there were several places to eat within walking distance. The lobby snack bar was decent too, with items available to buy. Breakfast had hot food and plenty of choices. Our room was large, comfortable, and spotless, and the bathrooms were well stocked with shower soap. They even provide complimentary toothpaste if you forget yours. The property is newer, quiet, and very clean and well maintained. The pool was warm and clean, and we had it all to ourselves on a Saturday night, which was a nice surprise. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.

The room was impressively clean, but two things may keep me from staying here again. It got very warm, and even with the AC set as low as it would go, it kept turning off. I spoke with several staff members, who were both very nice, but there was no fix or troubleshooting. The room also felt fairly worn. Most of all, the blinds didn't cover the whole window, so a lot of light came in early in the morning.
