Roslyn Pines

The pool at the recreation center was closed Wednesday and Thursday. Then the weather turned into all-day rain, so going outside wasn't really an option. We left a day early, especially since the comforts that had drawn us to the cabin weren't usable. We may have just had bad luck, but there are other cabins, and we won't return to the Roslyn Pines cabin. The hot tub was cloudy, with greenish-brown bubbles when we first opened it, as the photos show, and it was low on water. Vacation Rental 365 came by to shock it, but after we'd run it for a while, the problem was still there. A clean hot tub might have stopped us from looking into the other issues. The house itself was nice, and we rarely complain, but what we arrived to wasn't what we'd paid for. We usually enjoy staying at Roslyn Ridge, but next time we'll need a better cabin. Other things weren't working or connected. We couldn't get the gas fireplace to light, even after trying ourselves. The internet kept cutting out and stopped several movies we were watching. The garage was locked, so we couldn't park or store anything there because the owner had personal belongings inside. One TV wasn't hooked up to anything, and we couldn't see why it was even in that room. We were told only one trash can was allowed, with a $25 fee for anything beyond that, although another paper in the house said two cans were allowed. We also got locked out in the rain because the door lock was stripped from too much use. After calling 365, we had to enter through the back door by the garage using a key. For the rest of the trip, the front door wouldn't lock with either the code or the key.
