For the price, the breakfast was more than I expected: biscuits and gravy, pancakes, assorted breads, bagels, pastries, juice, and coffee. The lobby felt clean and welcoming, and our room was tidy and well kept. The building is older, so there’s some parking lot noise. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, even when we checked in late, and someone had already answered our questions before we arrived. Great value for a family on a budget.

The rooms were much nicer than the outside suggests, but dealing with staff was frustrating. I asked for a late checkout on 10/12/25. Around 10, an older, very short-haired housekeeper banged on my door until I answered, then argued that she hadn’t known about the late checkout and spoke to me passive aggressively. As we left, she was downstairs arguing with another guest who said the housekeeper had entered their room before checkout and told them to hurry up. The guest pushed back, while the housekeeper said they had only a few minutes left and made a scene. She was very unprofessional. The front desk girl was also hard to reach: calls went unanswered, and when I went inside she rarely came out, so my questions stayed unanswered.

The bed was comfortable, the WiFi worked well enough for me to work, and the room was clean. I also liked having a cozy room and the great pool Nextdoor. The owner was very nice, and it stayed quiet throughout my visit. The service was better than what I’ve had at some 4 star hotels. I had a great time and would come back if I’m in the area again.

Check-in and checkout were both easy, and there were no hidden fees or other surprises. The rooms had a lot more space than I expected at this price, making this a solid budget stay. I paid $130 per night at the desk, though, and later saw online rates were $20 less per room. Google had even advertised rooms for $65, so I missed out on $60 in savings. I’d book through a site like Expedia next time. Still good value if you plan ahead.
