Travelodge by Wyndham Columbus State University

The hotel was filthy, with cigarette burns in the carpet, ceiling tiles falling down, and stained mattresses. We booked for one night so my husband could rest before returning to bootcamp, but we didn't even stay the night. When I got home, I found they'd charged us for three nights. I've called more than three times, left messages, and gave them my number for a manager to call. No one has called back. It's disrespectful to treat a soldier this way and ignore a callback. I had to file a claim with my bank and get new cards to protect myself from more unauthorized charges. A horrible experience from start to finish. We'll never stay somewhere remotely like this again. Avoid it.

The room was awful, and I checked out way before my time. The A/C didn't work, so it was hot as hell. The tub was stained and the water wouldn't stop running. They hadn't cleaned the room properly either. At this point, this hotel needs to be torn down and turned into something else.

I can't recommend this hotel after my stay on November 10-12. I booked a king room through Priceline.com, but on arrival they said it was unavailable because of cleanliness issues and put me in a double instead. The room I got was in bad shape too: mold made the bathroom unusable, and the carpet was dirty and smelled. The evening front desk staff couldn't help when I asked about the charge difference. I expected not to be charged for the downgraded room, as that happened on a previous stay, but they couldn't address it. The confirmed booking wasn't honored, the room was unhygienic, and the staff weren't helpful. Please investigate and consider a resolution for the inconvenience. Thank you for your attention.

I was there May 22-23 2025. The TV didn't work, the room smelled horrible, and I woke up to roaches all over my food. It's a dump, and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.
