Hampton Inn Columbus South Fort Moore

The location worked well for visiting the nearby base and looking around the area, and it was quiet at night. Breakfast had plenty of fresh choices, including eggs and fruit, which I appreciated before heading out. My room was clean and looked well cared for, and the bed was cozy after a long day of travel. The staff were welcoming right from check-in. A comfortable, dependable stay.

At check-out around 11 a.m., a guest services employee repeatedly banged on my door and said I’d be charged for another day unless I was out within 15 minutes. She went down the hall doing the same to other guests, and someone said she had started as early as 10:50. She wasn’t at the desk to handle check-outs because she was harassing guests. That behavior was unacceptable, and I won’t be back. I stayed here in early January 2026. The rooms were spacious, though dated.

The breakfast buffet had lots of variety, and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. I stayed here while my son had a four-day pass after Turning Blue. The hotel is next to the Infantry Museum, which I highly recommend seeing while you’re in the area.

The breakfast was delicious and clean, and the cookies were fresh. The staff were friendly, organized, and efficient, and clearly take pride in their service. I’ve traveled all over the world, and if I come back to this area, I’ll stay at this amazing Inn again. Highly recommend.
