Carl's Motel

There was a bone-chilling draft coming through holes in the shower, which was unsettling. Mold was on the refrigerator and in the shower, bugs came through the wide gap beneath the door, and the floor was so dirty I wouldn't walk on it barefoot. I felt safer outside than in the room. The microwave had no glass plate and seemed to have food all over its inside. The only outlet for charging my phone was halfway up the wall with nowhere to set it, and it wasn't grounded. Cal O.S.H.A. should be called on these people.

The rooms were clean, and for the price, what they offered seemed good. My mother and I stayed three days and felt safe. The managers were very nice.

I wouldn't stay there again. You'll get worn out stomping roaches, and the new management kept my $10 key deposit. They claimed there was a 't.v./remote' issue, but I think it was a setup to expose your privacy through the t.v., and maybe even on 'tiktok or 'X' now. Years ago I left what sounded like a negative comment about the manager, but really it was the best compliment I could give her for ruling with an iron fist, lol!! Seriously, watch out for the new management.

I slept well and felt safe here. The motel room was clean and comfortable, and I look forward to coming back to Carl's Motel soon.
