Hampton Inn & Suites Houston - Rosenberg

I've been here six days for work, and it's the closest Hilton to where I'm assigned this week. The laundry room is clean, and the machines are fairly new. The rooms are clean for now, but the gym is a letdown since I need to use it. There's no weights, and the Peloton bike isn't connected. You can't even use it manually unless the hotel sets it up, and it won't recognize my account when it's not connected properly. I told the manager three days ago, and nothing has been done. There are never towels in the gym either. I'm not sure I'll come back on my next assignment.

The room was clean, and the shower was a nice way to start the day. Thanks for the clean, comfortable bed, too. The coffee was hot and satisfying, and the biscuits and gravy were spot on. Five Texas stars.

Annie at the front desk made booking by phone so easy. I couldn't remember my online password, but she took my rewards number, reserved a room away from the elevator, and charged my card while staying cheerful the whole time. Pearl handled checkout and was kind and efficient. She even helped me get into the lobby women's bathroom because our key card wouldn't work. Maintenance may need to look at that. The hotel is being remodeled, so there were quite a few signs, but it looked nice overall. Our room was a good size, quiet, and very clean. The bathroom floor could use a touch-up. We were in Rosenberg for our granddaughter's graduation. Hampton has always been our choice for its great breakfast, but the last few visits haven't had as many options. In our last four stays, I only got bacon once, which was disappointing because the other meats don't agree with my tummy. Still, no real issues. Thanks to Annie for a smooth check-in and Pearl for an easy checkout.

My family and I won't be coming back. The area is nice, but the hotel had all kinds of insects, including bugs and spiders. I got pictures of them in the lobby while we were eating breakfast. Our room wasn't cleaned during our stay, even after we asked for service to clean it and at least remove the trash. Then the elevators stopped working at checkout, and it took forever to get them fixed. Very inconvenient.
