The roaches are terrifying, and an infestation could be devastating. I'm stuck here because of insurance after a fire, and I would not stay if you have a choice. The rooms are dirty and small, with unreliable internet that's out more often than it works. There's a loud ticking from the heater, and a spotlight shines through a big gap in the blind all night. Before we even used the room, there was garbage and empty bottles behind the nightstand, hair in the shower and bathroom corners, soap scum, fingerprints, and dirt throughout. The whole place smells moldy and dirty. It's a complete dump.

I've only been here a week, with two more to go, so wish me luck. I'm staying for work, and from day one things have been frustrating. My shower curtain was filthy, and none of the soap, shampoo, or lotion bottles were filled. It took a full day and ten reminders to the front desk to get that done. The dishwasher pod compartment is broken, there's no dish detergent, and the pans were dirty from the last guests. One African woman at the front desk is very polite and does what she can, and I commend her. The rest of the staff get two stars. There's only one housekeeper for the whole building each day, and getting my room cleaned was an adventure. One desk worker lied about having me down for service, then said she'd send housekeeping right away. Four hours later, I called downstairs. The woman who originally put me on the list was surprised and said she had me marked down, then I heard them arguing about why it hadn't been done.

A cockroach was on the cutting board when I reached into the cupboard while my husband and I were cooking. He took it to the desk, where the clerk put on rubber gloves, disposed of the roach, washed the board, and brought it back. She offered a room change, but no refund or free stay. I wondered what good that would do if the whole motel had roaches. The light above the microwave also didn't work, and the furnace wasn't working when we arrived. My husband called the desk and was made to fix it himself instead of anyone coming down. There are slot machines by the clerk's desk. We won some money, but the payout machine didn't work. The previous clerk had said they'd pay if it failed to give us the money; then the woman at the desk said there was nothing she could do. This is the worst motel I've stayed at. Stay far, far away.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I need folios for a construction crew, but management hasn't replied to two weeks of emails, and nobody answers the phone even after I called for two hours. We stay at a lot of IHG hotels, and this manager doesn't seem to care about customers once they've run your credit card. maria needs training in IHG hospitality and management skills.
