Relax Inn

For about $100 a night, this place is missing too many basics. There's no laundry, the ice machine doesn't work, and there's no coffee in the room. It also lacks standard shampoo and the usual coffee other hotels provide. Hotels that include breakfast have rented rooms for less. This hotel misses a lot, and the staff weren't very polite or caring toward customers. The price is far too high for what you get.

I've stayed in plenty of hotels, but none looked or smelled like this one. My room hit me with a strong sweaty smell as soon as I walked in. There was dirt and cobwebs all over when I went to sit in the chairs. In the shower, I found pubic hair on the wall and what looked like blood. Then I pulled back the bed and saw hairs, plus what might have been blood stains or a bug that had been killed there. I went downstairs to speak to someone, but the man I talked to was rude. He said he'd checked the room himself and that I couldn't get a refund. I don't recommend staying here.

I hate having to write this, but people should know. The rooms are quite nice, but there were bed bugs. I woke up with welts all over me, turned on the light, and found two very large bugs in the bed. The manager told me, “we don’t have those”. I took a photo, so I don't know how they can deny it. I paid 80$+ to get bitten and was basically called a liar. A friend in the area who stayed there had similar experiences too. Bed bugs are hard to get rid of, but after dealing with bites and worrying about bringing them home, I deserved a refund or something. I literally burned the clothes I had with me that day. Please be aware. It's 80$+ a night here, so stay at the comfort inn instead for 10$ more.

It was nice and super quiet, and I was very satisfied. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I brought an extra pillow. No bed bugs, unlike what earlier reviews said. I wasn't bothered by housekeeping during the stay, and they even let me get the room again on short notice. Paying cash was nice too.
