Hampton Inn & Suites Roswell

I’d stayed at this Hampton Inn with my family years ago, so I already knew the place. It’s clearly been renovated since then and looks great, with fresh rooms and an updated property. The gym was top tier, which matters to me. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m back.

There were useful touches like lots of places to charge devices, a mini fridge, and ready-made breakfast bags to take along. I didn’t eat breakfast there, and the mini fridge has no freezer. There’s no smart TV or sleep timer either. The room was clean and spacious, with plenty of hot water, though the pressure was medium to low. The shower leaked badly. With the inside door toward the shower head, I finished washing my hair and found a big pool on the floor even though both doors were closed. Switching the doors around seemed to help, but then the other one kept sliding open. It’s recently upgraded and looks fresh, but I’ve seen poor workmanship at several updated hotels this past year, as if crews rushed and nobody checked the job. This one wasn’t the worst, though the signs were there, mostly with the carpet, which wasn’t flat and had random things underneath. Noise varied but wasn’t too bad.

That renovation looks great! The rooms are really nice, and the fitness center is a standout. It has a cable machine and even a TRX cage, which you don’t usually get at a Hampton Inn.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. They worked with our needs and let us check in early. Great hotel!
