At 11:51 PM, before midnight, a front desk employee told me the lobby was closing and threatened to call the police and have me trespassed if I didn’t leave immediately. I was quietly working on my own laptop for no more than 20 minutes, preparing documents for a court hearing the next day. There was no noise, disturbance, or other issue. The employee was angry, confrontational, and unprofessional. The escalation felt hostile and intimidating, especially over a paying guest sitting quietly. If management checks the security cameras, they’ll see how uncalled for it was. It came across less like enforcing a policy and more like someone on a power trip who didn’t want to be bothered. In more than 45 years, this was easily my worst hotel experience. I’ll never stay here again, and I strongly caution others, especially anyone traveling for something important or stressful. Zero stars if that were an option.

Mr. Patel verbally agreed on the morning of checkout that I wouldn’t be charged a late checkout fee, given how long I’d stayed and the 2 extra rooms I got my friends to book. The day after I left, he charged me a $156 fee anyway. I believe that was unfair and dishonest. My daily avg rate was

My stay was terrible. Staff said my room smelled like smoke, even though I don’t smoke, and refused to refund me. The customer service was rude and no help. Breakfast was awful too. There are much better places to stay, so save your money and book somewhere else.

The blonde-haired woman at the front desk pushed my ID across the counter and locked the staff door, as if I were the one upset. It felt like a slap in the face. I asked about paying the deposit in cash, especially since I’d paid in cash three days earlier, and she said they only take cash in an emergency. What counts as an emergency for check-in? She tried to get me arrested over it. I felt she was racist because I’m Black. The service at the desk was bad, and having to talk to the cops that day was humiliating.
