Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin Round Rock

I've been back to this hotel many times and have always felt comfortable and welcome. My room is kept neat and clean each day, especially the bed, and the staff are wonderful. Things are consistently well organized, clean, and comfortable every time I stay.

The calm, opulent atmosphere and prime location made the stay memorable. Rooms were beautifully arranged, exceptionally comfortable, and kept in flawless shape. The team gave warm, precise service and seemed to anticipate every need. This place sets a high bar for luxury hospitality. Highly recommended.

The bathroom had dead and live roaches, along with what I assume was rust, and it was generally very dirty. The whole room felt like it had only been given the bare minimum of cleaning before the next guest. I was a platinum elite member of the priority club, and I will never stay at this location again. I strongly suggest checking the room carefully before completing check-in. I stayed the full duration because it was prepaid, and I was too exhausted to pack up and go through the hassle of asking for a refund. Instead, I bought my own linens, towels, and cleaning supplies because relocating felt like too much trouble. I posted photos and videos taken on the first day so the owner can assess their commitment to quality and basic cleanliness and make the improvements needed to meet Holiday Inn Express standards. Maybe the relatively low price should have been my first clue.

We were waiting for the roads to reopen after bad weather, and this was our last hotel before heading home. I liked the place enough to add another day. The room was cozy and relaxing, I loved the lighting, and the bed and pillows were both really comfortable. The staff were very nice, and getting from the entrance to our room was pleasant. We had to get back to work, so I can't say much about breakfast, though I did see them setting it up. Thanks for a great stay, and I'll definitely come back. What a way to start a new year!
