Motel 6 Rowland Heights, CA - Los Angeles - Pomona

I only lasted a couple of hours before leaving. I had booked several days, but there was no way I could stay. The room was filthy: hair all over the beds, sink, and counters, and the sheets and towels were dirty too. It looked like nothing had been wiped down, and the bathroom was awful. Walking in made me feel like I needed vaccine shots. I know motels aren't always high quality, but this was unacceptable. I rarely write reviews, only when a place is this disgusting and poor. I honestly don't know how it keeps passing city reviews. Nobody should have to stay in those conditions. Shame on the staff and management for letting it get this bad.

We were stuck because the room was non-refundable, and I was miserable. The first room had a bed that strongly smelled of PISS. When we asked to switch, I had to argue with the desk attendant. The second room smelled a little better, but the mattresses were extremely soiled, and one was so worn its springs were broken. We checked the beds for bedbugs and found those problems instead. It’s clear the staff don't care about guests and are just here for a paycheck. The WiFi was so slow I had to go elsewhere to handle important business. If I could, I’d give this ZERO stars. I will NEVER stay at a Motel 6 again. Shame on you.

The front desk was nice, but all they could offer was a room change. We left without a refund and had to pay another $400 to stay somewhere else. The room had hair everywhere and what looked like possible blood throughout. It didn't seem cleaned before we came in. This “stay” felt like a motel from hell. Not pleased at all. Enjoy the pictures, I guess.

There were guests knocking on our door every 15 minutes all night, and people who looked like they were running from the police came through the courtyard. Dogs and cats were around at all hours. The whole place was a trash hole and brings down the location for everyone. We were stuck because we'd booked online with no cancellation and were traveling on a budget. The rooms were gross, the floors filthy, and cleaning them myself with paper towels and toilet paper was disgusting. The mattresses were sunken in and horrific. Front desk staff were no help, like putting down a cell phone to talk to a guest was too much. We never got clean towels. They told me to fetch some from the laundry room, where I was told to trade in my dirty ones. I'd just checked in and didn't have a single towel in the room to trade, so we went without towels during our stay.
