For New Year's Eve, my husband and I got a random upgrade to a corner room and watched fireworks all over Dallas. Dinner at The Reserve was halibut, a NY Strip, and dessert. I still think about how good that steak was. The bartenders worked together and were very attentive. We went back to The Reserve for breakfast on New Year's Day, had omelettes, and split a stack of pancakes. It was great. I don't remember everyone's names, but Mary stands out. When I asked for salsa for my omelette, she said they no longer had any. No problem, but then the chef made some just for me. I felt special our whole stay and would highly recommend it. Valet parking is a steep $55 a night, but the overall experience made it worthwhile.

The breakfast was sneakily excellent, and that matters to me because a bad hotel breakfast can ruin the stay. I also found a walkable bridge nearby that was great for exercise. I stayed out of curiosity and left impressed. The place is ultra-modern and chic, with zero grandma energy. The lobby feels open and airy, like it belongs in a design magazine. Check out the acetic art on the walls.

Noe at the front desk made us feel welcome with his kindness at check-in. The rooms were clean and really nice, and the hotel's in a convenient spot near plenty of good places in and around Dallas's Highland area. Wonderful stay, highly recommend, and I'll definitely return.

The staff were so friendly, and I was impressed with their professionalism. After I lost my gold ring and had pretty much given up hope, they explained the proper steps and followed up with me later. I got the ring back. I'd definitely stay at this lovely hotel again.

Don't use the valet. It cost $55, plus 25% of the booking fee, and they don't even keep your car in a garage. It's parked within 50 feet of the entrance. The hallways weren't clean either. At check-in around 4 p.m., there was still breakfast from the night before scattered all over the halls, and not just on my floor. Don't stay here.
