Night Inn

Both mattresses were full of bed bugs. I checked before lying down, after cleaning the nasty bathroom because I just wanted to shower and sleep. I had driven 14 hours and still had 5 more to go, so I desperately needed rest before finishing the trip home. I'd specifically asked if the room was clean, and it wasn't. The man gave excuse after excuse and kept showing me his check-in sheet, saying nobody else ever complains. Reading the comments now, I realize I should've checked them first. This place should be gutted and run by someone who cares about guests, or just burned down.

We found a dead cockroach and an egg sac under the table, and there was another roach climbing the wall behind my son while he sat with his laptop. The place was run-down, and the tile looked hard to keep clean. We were there for 15 minutes before wanting to leave. The guy knew about the roaches and just smirked. He offered another room, but I wouldn't take it. If one room has roaches, chances are the others do too. Their sign said guests leaving within a certain number of minutes would get all but $20 back, and that's what they refunded us. I handed over the cup with the roach and egg sac. Not worth a cheap stay if you end up needing an exterminator at home.

The lady at the desk was nice, and I feel for her ❤️. The owner was rude and refused a refund. The building was loud, the air conditioner rattled, and the bathroom area was unkept. The door lock was broken, and the internet was slow. On top of that, the mattress was the hardest ever and the pillows were rock hard and lumpy. Stay away.

The clerk got us into our rooms fast and was excellent, and they did refund us. Still, one room had bedbugs, while the other had flies and a roach. It was definitely not a pleasant stay.
